Removal and installation the control unit of the compressor of the body position regulator (VW Passat B4)

Removing and installing the compressor control unit is not difficult. The control unit is secured to the compressor with self-adhesive tape.

Disconnect the jumper connecting the compressor to the "ground" by unscrewing the mounting bolt. Remove the mounting tape and remove the box with the compressor from the mudguard of the rear left wing. Remove the compressor from the box. Completely release the air pressure through the purge valve of the pressure distributor. Remove the compressor control unit. Unscrew the high-pressure line from the pressure distributor.

The compressor is installed in the reverse order of removal.
