To replace the front wheel bearing, raise the front of the vehicle, put it on stands and remove the front wheel from the desired side. Loosen the hub nut (pic. 5-5). Remove the steering knuckle. Remove the brake disc and caliper. Press wheel hub out of steering knuckle. Remove the inner and outer circlips of the wheel bearing and press out the bearing. Replace the outer circlip before pressing in the new bearing. Using a press and mandrels of the correct size, press in a new wheel bearing. Install the hub in the reverse order of removal.
