Remove the piston dust cap. Remove the piston from the cylinder by applying compressed air through the brake hose connection. To avoid damaging the piston pushed out by the compressed air, place a wooden plank between the piston and the caliper.
Using a flexible blade with a rounded edge, such as a feeler gauge, remove the sealing ring from the cylinder groove.
Wash the parts thoroughly with alcohol and check their condition. If scratches are found on the surface of the piston or cylinder, replace the entire caliper. Check the ease of movement of the guides. Clean and lubricate them if necessary.
Assemble the brake mechanism, replacing all sealing parts and lubricating the rubbing parts with brake fluid. Install the brake mechanism and bleed air from the brake hydraulic drive as described above.
