Removal and installation the front brake disc (VW Passat B4)

Replace brake discs in pairs only.

Fig. 7-13 shows the layout of the front axle with ventilated discs of the front wheel brake mechanisms.



Raise the front of the vehicle, place it on stands and remove the front wheels. Remove the brake assembly from the steering knuckle without disconnecting the brake hose. Hang the brake assembly under the wing using a wire hook. Remove the brake disc. Install the brake disc in the reverse order of removal.

Press the brake pedal several times to set the hydraulic drive piston to the working position.
