Order of execution
1. Clean the o-ring mating surface.
2. Reinstall the thermostat. On 1.8-I petrol engines and diesel engines, install the thermostat and turn it 90°clockwise. The thermostat must be installed in such a way that the air vent is directed upwards.
3. Lubricate the new O-ring with fresh coolant and install.
4. Install the connecting pipe and screw it with bolts, tightening them with a torque of 15 Nm.
5. Pour coolant into the cooling system.

6. Reinstall the air conditioning compressor and tighten the compressor mounting bolts to 45 Nm. Install poly V-belt.
7. Start the engine and check the cooling system for leaks.
