The front of the car when the radiator is removed
- 1 - bolts for fastening the front beam;
- 2 - bolt (do not unscrew completely);
- 3 - radiator mounting bolts;
- 4 - capacitor mounting bolts
Removing
1. With the ignition off, remove the ground wire from the battery.
2. Remove the front buffer.
3. Drain the coolant from the cooling system.
4. Disconnect the pipes of the cooling system from the radiator.
5. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the temperature sensor and radiator fan.
6. unscrew the bolts (1), fastening the front beam on both sides of the car.
7. Loosen but do not completely unscrew the bolts (2), above the headlights.
8. Move the upper front cross member to the service position.
Cars with air conditioning
9. Do not disconnect the cooling circuit of the air conditioning system.
10. Unscrew the bolts securing the condenser to the front beam. Without disconnecting the piping from the condenser, move it to the side and secure it in this position.
All cars
11. Unscrew the four radiator mounting bolts and remove the radiator to the bottom of the engine compartment.
