Installing the radiator and fan (VW Golf 4)

Radiator of the cooling system

• 1 - Fan holder mounting bolt;
• 2 - temperature sensor;
• 3, 4 - radiator holders

Execution order

1. Install the fan holder on the radiator and secure with bolts (1), tightening them to a torque of 10 Nm.

2. Screw the temperature sensor into the radiator, tightening it to a torque of 35 Nm.

3. Place the holders (3, 4) on the radiator.

4. Install the radiator in place and secure it with bolts, tightening them to a torque of 10 Nm.

Cars with air conditioning

5. Replace the capacitor and secure it with bolts, tightening them to a torque of 10 Nm.

6. Reinstall the upper front cross member.

7. Connect the electrical connectors to the temperature sensor and radiator fan.

8. Connect the cooling system hoses to the radiator with new sealing rings and secure them with clamps.

9. Install the front buffer.

10. Connect the ground wire to the battery.
