- Front oil seal on crankshaft (on the right, looking in the direction of travel), on the camshaft or intermediate shaft. Oil appears in the area of the toothed belt cover.
- Valve cover gaskets.
- Oil filter holder, oil cooler and filter housing.
- Cylinder head gasket.
- Oil pan gasket.
- Oil pressure sensor (subject to replacement)
- The seal under the control lever on the high-pressure fuel pump may leak diesel fuel.
Localization of leaks
