Cold start accelerator cable at the instrument panel (drawing on the left) and at the high pressure fuel pump (drawing on the right): 1 - ring nut; 2 - bracket with safety pin; 3 - handle; 4 - traction; 5 - support; 6 - safety washer; 7 - screw.
Replacing the cold start accelerator rod
At the fuel pump, disconnect the screw at the threaded nipple, remove the safety washer near the support.
Remove the left glove compartment or cover under the panel.
Unscrew the round pull button.
Disconnect the retaining clip from the T-handle. Unscrew the handle.
Unscrew the ring nut located in the recess in the instrument panel.
Pull the rod downwards.
Now pull the entire rod into the car's interior.
When installing, carefully insert the rod into the partition through the sleeve.
Adjusting the cold start accelerator thrust
Loosen the screw of the threaded nipple at the front, near the fuel pump.
Insert the cold starter handle completely into the instrument panel.
Pull the front of the cable tightly.
Make sure that the fuel pump operating lever is on the right, near the stop, when looking in the direction of travel.
Tighten the threaded nipple screw securely.
