External Door Handle - Replacement
1. Remove the decorative cover from the handle by pressing it with a small screwdriver.
2. Remove the handle mounting screw and the disc washer. The second mounting screw is located on the end of the door and is covered by a rubber seal (figure R:12). Remove the screw and spring washer and remove the door handle (figure R:13).

NOTE: On early models, the front end of the handle is not held in place by a screw, but by a fork hooked onto the edge of the hole. To remove the handle, slide it forward (towards the door hinge), first by separating the back end of the handle from the door.
3. Install the handle in reverse order. Before tightening the screws, make sure that the handle lever engages correctly with the door lock.

3. Unscrew the two screws securing the inner handle of the lock, unhook the long rod from the handle (figure R:14), then disconnect the rod from the lock.

4. Remove the two screws securing the lock (figure R:15) and remove the lock.

5. Before installing the lock on the door, lift the lock lever and fix it with the help of a screwdriver by inserting it into the mounting hole (figure R:16).

6. Insert the lock rod through the opening into the door and secure the rod in the guide, while the plastic tongues of the guide should touch (figure R:17).

7. Attach the rod to the inside handle of the lock and remove the screwdriver from the mounting hole.
8. Secure the lock with screws.
