Loosen the hub bolt. Remove the wheel. Remove the lower noise-insulating casing. Loosen the "arrow" nuts. Disconnect the triangular lever from the ball joint and, accordingly, from the steering knuckle. Remove the drive shaft from the wheel hub and secure it to the body.

Install wedge -T10161- between gearbox housing and tripod joint. Press out inner CV joint from gearbox by hammering wedge "T10161". Remove drive shaft.

Installation
Install a new retaining ring into the groove of the splined end of the joint. Insert the end of the joint into the splined hole of the gearbox. Insert the drive shaft into the joint until it stops. After this, "push" the splined end of the joint into the splined hole of the gearbox. To do this, first align their splines, and then, sliding the joint along the splines, forcefully "push" it into the splined hole of the gearbox. Before pushing, the splined end of the joint should be deep enough to enter the splined hole of the gearbox.
Instructions: It is strictly forbidden to use a hammer or other impact tools!
Check the reliability of the joint retaining ring fit in the gearbox by pulling it out of the gearbox.
Caution: When performing this check, pull only on the pivot element, not on the drive shaft.
Insert the splined end of the outer CV joint as deeply as possible into the splined hole of the wheel hub. Screw the ball joint to the triangular lever "arrows".
Instructions: Check the boot for damage or kinks.
Install the lower noise insulation casing. Tighten the hub bolt.
Instructions: The car should not be standing on its wheels, otherwise the wheel bearings will be damaged.
Install the wheel and tighten its mounting bolts.
Tightening torques
| Ball joint to wishbone. Use only new nuts | 60 Nm |
| Drive shaft to hub "12-point head bolt". Use only new bolt | 70 Nm and turn 90° |
