1. The front suspension on the LT 28, 31, 35, 40 and 45 models remained virtually the same (see chapter 11). Some changes in technical data are indicated in the Specifications, and the main modifications are discussed below.

Figure 13.87. General view of the front axle and front suspension on LT 40, 45 and 50 models (2.4 L engine): 1 - Spring plate (forged part); 2 - Anti-roll bar (is located in front of the front axle).

3. The main difference is in the mountings of the anti-roll bar, which is located in front of the axle beam.

4. The rear suspension of the LT 28, 31 and 35 models remained virtually unchanged. The main modifications are discussed below in this section.

5. On the LT 40, 45 and 50 models, the engine angle was changed from 5°30' to 27°50', which resulted in a change in the rear suspension.

6. The driveshaft and differential are offset relative to the vehicle's axis, and the left shock absorber is bolted to the differential box. The rubber springs used on the LT 40 and 45 models are not available on the LT 50 models. We do not have further information on these modifications at this time.

7. The steering, as well as the suspension, remained basically unchanged, with the exception of minor modifications, which will be discussed below.
