Vehicles with ABS do not have a mechanical brake force regulator. Special software in the control unit monitors the distribution of braking force for the rear axle.
ABS malfunctions do not affect the braking system and its amplification. The braking system performs its functions even if the ABS fails. In case of ABS malfunction, you should take into account the change in braking force. After the ABS warning light comes on, the rear wheels may lock prematurely when braking.

The control unit and the hydraulic unit form one unit. These components cannot function separately. The hydraulic pump also cannot function separately from the hydraulic unit.
