The brake system with ABS is dual-circuit and diagonal. Strengthening in the brake system is carried out using a vacuum booster.
ABS malfunctions affect the brake system and the boost in it. In the event of a malfunction of the ABS, a change in braking force must be taken into account. After the ABS warning lamp comes on, the rear wheels may lock up prematurely when braking.
Vehicles with ABS Mark 25 are not equipped with a mechanical brake force regulator. Special software in the control unit monitors the distribution of the brake force for the rear axle.
Control unit 1 and hydraulic unit 2 form a single unit (pic. 6.61).
Separation is possible only in the removed state. The hydraulic pump 3 must not be disconnected from the hydraulic unit.
New control units as spare parts do not have coding. After installation, they must be encoded.
