Note: Do not interchange the different conical washers in tolerance compensation devices 4 and 5.
Note: If the tolerance compensation devices were secured with tape, remove it before installation.
Check the correct position of the individual conical washers in tolerance compensation devices 4 and 5.

First place the rail 6 on the roof, then insert the angle 1 through the pin until the conical washers are centered in the tolerance compensation devices 4 and 5 (Fig. 8.21).
Tighten nut 2 so that the bracket-holder is adjacent to the roof.
Tighten screws 3, tightening torque: 20 Nm.
Now tighten nut 2, tightening torque: 23 Nm.
If bulges form around the railing legs, the bracket holder should be adjusted.
