Adjust the lock bracket 1 so that the recess of the trunk lid lock snaps into the center of the lock bracket 1 (Fig. 8.30).
Remove the lock shelf trim:.
Loosen lock bracket 1.
Move the lock bracket 1 to the upper position and tighten the screws 2 (Fig. 8.30).
Close the trunk lid and check its adjustment.
Tightening torques: bolts 2: 23 Nm.
