Location of rivets for mounting the subwoofer to the door
Removal
1. Remove the interior door trim.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the speaker.
3. Using a drill bit of the appropriate diameter, drill out the 4 rivets that secure the speaker to the door, see Fig. Location of the rivets securing the subwoofer to the door.
4. Remove the speaker and remove the remaining rivets from the holes in the door.
Installation
1. Mount the subwoofer to the door and secure it with rivets or self-tapping screws.
2. Connect the electrical connector to the speaker.
3. Install the interior door trim, making sure to install the seal between the speaker and the door trim.
