Note. Vehicles with a catalytic converter equipped with an oxygen sensor with slots in the receiver head (sensor 1). The oxygen sensor of vehicles without a catalytic converter has a holed head (sensor 2) (pic. 2-64).
To check the supply voltage, disconnect the sensor connector and connect the LED probe to the terminals of the sensor block (pic. 2-65).
Start the engine and increase the engine speed to approximately 3700 rpm. In this case, the LED should light up.
If the LED does not light up, check the continuity of the sensor circuit and the condition of the sensor relay.
