The windshield washer reservoir is located on the left in the engine compartment. The tank is designed for 5 liters, and in cars with headlight washer - 8 liters.
On some models, the rear window washer also uses fluid from the main reservoir in the engine compartment.
Filling the windshield washer reservoir
It is recommended to constantly use a special low-freezing windshield washer fluid containing detergents, since pure water is not enough for high-quality and intensive cleaning of windows. When mixing detergent concentrate with water, follow the instructions on the packaging. If you have heated windshield washer jets, you should still use a low-freeze washer fluid in winter.
Note: If there is no special liquid, alcohol can be added to the water in winter (or vodka). Never mix antifreeze for the cooling system or brake fluid in the washing liquid - these liquids corrode the car's paint.
The jets from the washer nozzles must be directed at the windshield (with the car parked), as it shown on the picture.
The rear window washer sprayer is located on the axis of the wiper arm. The jet from the sprayer should be directed to the middle of the washed area. The direction of the jet can be corrected with a thin, sharp object, which must be inserted into the nozzle opening and rotate the nozzle as needed.
Headlight washer nozzles can only be adjusted with a special tool. Use the services of a service station.
