Drive belts are among the most wear-and-tear parts of a car, so the requirements for their quality must be the highest.
When replacing drive belts, it is advisable to use belts recommended by Volkswagen. In any case, the new belt should be the same size as the old one.
Some engine models use wear-resistant drive belts that are checked and tightened as part of periodic maintenance (service) service.
