Removal
1. Cover the edge of the 1 mirror housing with tape to protect it from damage (see illustration).
2. Press down on the glass 2 of the mirror and push it into the housing 1 (see illustration 75.1).
3. Insert a plastic wedge 5, for example, HAZET 1965-21, from above between the glass and the housing, carefully detach the glass from the support 4 and remove it from the housing (see arrow in illustration 75.1).
4. Disconnect wire 3 on the rear side of the heated side mirror, holding the riveted contact tabs so as not to damage them (see illustration 75.1).
Installation
5. Connect the mirror heater wire.
Attention! When installing the glass into the mirror housing, use gloves or a clean rag to prevent glass breakage and cuts.
6. Install the glass on its holder in the housing, press it and fix it. After that, check the strength of the glass fit on the holder.
7. Adjust the side rearview mirror to the desired position to provide adequate visibility.
