Removal
1. Remove the mirror glass.
2. Fold the mirror housing forward.
3. Insert a screwdriver under the retainer leash 2 and press the retainer (see illustration).
4. Move the housing of mirror 1 slightly forward and lift it up relative to the support (see illustration 76.3).
5. Use a screwdriver to press the fasteners 2 on the support and remove the mirror cover 1, pushing it back in the direction of the arrow (see illustration).
6. Remove the lower part of the mirror housing from the support, if necessary.
Installation
7. Install the lower part of the mirror housing on the support, if removed, and secure with a screw.
8. Install and secure the cover onto the mirror support.
9. Place the mirror housing on top of the support and secure it.
10. Install the mirror glass back into place.
Touran cars
Removal
11. Remove the mirror glass.
12. Fold the mirror forward.
13. Unscrew the two screws 2 and remove the mirror housing 1 from the support 3 by pushing the housing upwards (see illustration).
14. Remove the turn signal repeater from the mirror housing.
15. Unscrew the two screws and remove the lower part of the housing from the support.
The mirror is assembled in the reverse order of removal.
