  • 1 - tunnel;
  • 2 - suspension;
  • 3 - bolt, 25 Nm;
  • 4 - exhaust pipe and catalytic converter. Protect from impacts;
  • 5 - self-locking nut, 40 Nm. A new nut must be used during installation;
  • 6, 8 - seal. A new seal must be used during installation;
  • 7 - exhaust manifold;
  • 9 - screen;
  • 10 - washer;
  • 11 - nut, 25 Nm;
  • 12 - screen;
  • 13 - Lambda sensor, 50 Nm. Before screwing in, apply VW-G052112A3 grease to the sensor thread. Do not lubricate the working part of the sensor;
  • 14 - clamp bracket. Mounting position. The bolt connection is located horizontally on the left side of the vehicle;
  • 15 - nut, 40 Nm;
  • 17 - suspension;
  • 18 - bolt, 25 Nm;
  • 18 - middle and rear muffler. At the factory, installed as one part. Replacement can be done separately;
  • 19 - suspension;
  • 20 - bolt, 25 Nm;
  • 21 - nut, 25 Nm

  • 1 - Seal. A new seal must be used during installation;
  • 2 - screen;
  • 3 - washer;
  • 4 - nut, 25 Nm;
  • 5 - lambda sensor, 50 Nm;
  • 6 - exhaust inlet pipe;
  • 7 - bolt, 10 Nm;
  • 8 - location of the clamp bracket installation;
  • 9 - connection point. When repairing the front and rear mufflers, separate and replace the mufflers separately;
  • 10 - suspension. With a retaining ring;
  • 11 - rear muffler;
  • 12 - clamp bracket;
  • 13 - nut, 40 Nm;
  • 14 - additional muffler;
  • 15 - clamp bracket. Install until it stops on the front exhaust pipe (8);
  • 16 - retaining ring;
  • 17 - connecting rack;
  • 18 - support. First screwed to the cylinder block, then to the exhaust manifold;
  • 19 - nut, 20 Nm;
  • 20 - exhaust manifold

The exhaust system consists of an exhaust manifold, turbocharger, exhaust pipe, central and additional mufflers. On all-wheel drive vehicles, a dual rear muffler is installed.

The connection of the exhaust system elements is carried out using threaded connections or clamps.
