Warning: When brake pads are in operation, they produce brake dust, which contains asbestos, which is harmful to health. Therefore, when cleaning brake pads, do not use compressed air or inhale the dust.
Warning: When replacing a brake disc, the other brake disc must also be replaced to ensure uniform braking. When replacing brake discs, the brake pads must also be replaced.
Execution order
1. Apply the handbrake, then raise the front of the car and secure it on stands.
2. Remove the corresponding front wheel.
3. Place a 10mm thick washer on the wheel mounting bolt and screw the mounting bolt into the hole in the brake disc.
4. Slowly rotate the brake disc so that it can be viewed from both sides. The wear of the brake disc from the pads should be within acceptable limits. If there are cracks on the disc, the disc must be replaced.
5. Use a dial indicator to check the runout of the brake disc. Attach the dial indicator to any convenient location and, by turning the brake disc, determine its runout at a distance of 10 mm from the outer edge.
6. Before checking the brake disc runout, make sure the hub bearing is in good condition.
7. Check the brake disc for cracks, especially around the wheel bolt holes, and for wear or mechanical damage, and replace it if necessary.

8. Measure the thickness of the brake disc (the arrows indicate the measurement locations).
9. Since there is a step around the perimeter of the brake disc, when measuring the thickness of the brake disc using a caliper, place two coins under the jaws of the caliper. To determine the true thickness of the brake disc, subtract the thickness of the two coins from the caliper reading.

10. The most convenient and accurate way to measure the thickness of a brake disc is to use a micrometer.
Warning: The brake disc thickness must be measured at several points around the circumference of the brake disc. The smallest of the measured values must be taken as the true brake disc thickness.
11. If there are scratches or cracks deeper than 0.5 mm, the brake disc must be replaced.
