Front brake mechanism with FS-III caliper
- 1 - Phillips head screw, 4 Nm;
- 2 - Brake disc. If replacement is necessary, replace both front brake discs. Before removing the brake disc, the caliper must be removed;
- 3 - brake pads. It is necessary to change all brake pads on one axle of the car;
- 4 - support;
- 5 - guide bolt, 28 Nm;
- 6 - protective cover;
- 7 - Brake hose with tip for hollow bolt, 35 Nm. When replacing brake pads, it is not necessary to unscrew the brake hose;
- 8 - steering knuckle;
- 9 - Allen screw;
- 10 - ABS sensor. Before installation, clean the lower inner thickening and lubricate it with consistent grease VW-G000650;
- 11 - partition;
- 12 - bolt, 10 Nm;
- 13 - wheel bearing;

- 15 - wheel hub with ABS sensor rotor
The FS-III support is unique in that it is a single piece.
Execution order
Warning: Always replace all pads on one axle of the vehicle, even if only one pad has reached the wear limit. If brake pads are to be reinstalled, they must be marked before removal.
1. Loosen the front wheel mounting bolts, then raise the front of the vehicle and secure it on stands.
2. Remove the front wheels.

3. Remove the protective covers (1) from the two caliper guide bolts. Using an Allen key, unscrew the caliper guide bolts.
4. Remove the caliper and, without disconnecting the brake hose, tie it to the car body with soft wire. Do not stretch or twist the brake hose.
5. Remove the brake pads from the caliper.
