Removal
1. Remove the brake pads.
2. Loosen the union nut of the brake pipe on the back side of the wheel brake cylinder.
3. Remove the two bolts securing the wheel brake cylinder to the brake shield.
Installation
1. Place a clean rag under the brake shield.
2. Completely unscrew the line union nut from the brake cylinder and immediately screw it onto the new brake cylinder. This ensures a small loss of brake fluid.
3. Install the working brake cylinder on the brake shield and secure it with bolts, tightening them to a torque of 8 Nm.
4. Tighten the union nut securing the pipe to the wheel brake cylinder to a torque of 5 Nm.
5. Install the brake pads.
6. Remove air from the brake system. In this case, as a rule, it is enough to bleed only the cylinder that was replaced.
