Before crimping the ends of the tubes, a lock nut is put on them, which, after screwing the cone-shaped surface into the conical base of the threaded hole, presses and seals the tube.
Brake hoses provide movable connections between the moving and stationary parts of the car. To reduce the loss of brake fluid when removing the working brake cylinders, clamps are used to pinch the brake hoses.
Order of execution
1. When installing a new brake pipe or brake hose, make sure they are firmly secured in the brackets and are well away from moving or hot parts.
2. After installation is complete, check the brake fluid level in the master cylinder and top up if necessary.
3. Bleed the air from the brake system and carefully check the operation of the brakes before operating the vehicle.
