Replace brushes once or twice a year.
Note: The hot paraffin paste used in car washes impairs the cleaning power of the windshield.
To prevent damage to the brushes, do not use gasoline, kerosene, paint thinner, or other solvents to clean areas of the vehicle near them.
To avoid damaging the wiper blades or other components, do not attempt to move the wipers by hand.
Removing brushes
- Raise the wiper blade and set the blade to a horizontal position.
- Press down on the retaining spring (A) and remove the brush by pulling it towards the windshield (IN).
Installing new brushes
- The retaining spring on the wiper blade should snap into place.
When installing brushes with wind brushes, make sure that the brushes point downwards.
