Attention: If the wiper blades rattle, it is usually not enough to replace the wiper blades or rubber bands. In any case, it is necessary to check and, if necessary, adjust the angle of inclination of the wiper arms.
Removing
Fold up the wiper arm and place the wiper blade horizontally.
Press the spring clip -A- downwards and move the wiper blade from the lever hook downwards -B-.
Slide the wiper blade up and remove from the hook on the wiper arm.
From the fixed side of the rubber band, squeeze both steel tires with pliers, remove from the upper clip from the side, and pull the rubber band together with the tire from the remaining clips of the wiper arm.
Installation
Loosely insert a new rubber strip without retaining bar into one clip of the wiper blade.
Place both tires on the rubber band so that the grooves of the tires face the rubber band and are fixed in the tape protrusions.
Compress both tires and the rubber band with pliers and insert into another clamp so that the projections of the clamp are fixed on both sides in the holding grooves of the rubber band (arrow).
Fit the mesh onto the wiper arm and attach the spring clip to the hook on the wiper arm.
Swing the wiper arm onto the windshield. Make sure that the rubber band of the wiper blade rests on the glass along its entire length.
