Replacing the rubber band of the wiper blade
Replace the rubber band in the following order:
- remove the wiper blade and take it with you to an auto parts store in order to compare exactly the rubber band you need by comparison;
- before removing the old rubber band, remember how the wiper blade elements were connected;
- Carefully unbend the attachment tongues that hold the rubber band to the brush. Both inserted metal strips should be transferred to a new rubber band;
- gently push in the new rubber band. Pay attention to the shape of the bend;
- after installing a new rubber band on the brush, carefully clamp the fastening tongues with pliers.
Wiper blade replacement
This operation takes less time than replacing the rubber bands of the brushes, but the brush assemblies themselves are more expensive. When buying new blades, be sure to bring your old wiper blade with you.

- carefully place the wiper blade on the glass, having removed the material placed on the glass first.
