Replacing front turn signal bulbs (VW Sharan 1)

Replacement replace the front turn signal lamps in the following order:

• open the hood and unscrew the bolt (Fig. 357) securing the front turn signal light (above the headlight, near the wing);
• remove the forward direction indicator and disconnect the electrical connector;
• turn the socket clockwise and unscrew it together with the bulb from the turn signal housing;
• remove the bulb from the socket (the lamp has a bayonet socket);
• install the new bulb by turning it and inserting it into the turn signal housing;
• connect the electrical connector and insert the turn signal into the recess on the fender;
• carefully tighten the front turn signal light mounting bolt. Do not tighten the bolt too much, as this may cause the glass to break.
