Note: The illustrations show the removal and installation of the left turn signal lamp. The removal of the right turn signal lamp is done in mirror image.
Removal
Turn off the ignition and all electrical consumers and turn the key to position 0 (preliminary stop).
Note: Put the ignition key of the remote control in the vehicle interior during removal and installation to avoid locking the doors and self-activation of the functions "Coming Home/ Leaving Home (Arriving Home/ Leaving Home)".

Unscrew the fastening bolt 1 and unlock the grille 2 from the bumper cover retainer (Fig. 7.78).
Remove the mounting bolt on the bottom of the turn signal lamp.

Remove the turn signal lamp 1, taking into account the length of the connected wires, from the bumper casing (Fig. 7.79).

Unlock and disconnect plug connection 1 and remove direction indicator lamp 2 together with the clipped protective cover (Fig. 7.80).

Using a suitable screwdriver, release the fasteners and remove the clipped protective cover 2 from the direction indicator lamp 1 (Fig. 7.81).
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order, taking into account the following.
Note: When installing the protective cover, ensure that all fasteners are seated correctly.
