Removal and installation headlights (VW Sharan 1)

Removal headlights are installed in the following order:

• remove the turn signal next to the headlight (see subsection 16.7);
• remove the radiator grille:
• unscrew the four bolts securing the radiator grille;
• push the top of the radiator grille out and remove it from the lower mount;
• in the engine compartment, remove the headlight protective cover;
• disconnect the electrical connector located on the back of the headlight;
• unscrew the four headlight mounting screws from the front (two on top and two on the bottom) and remove the headlight assembly forward.

Installation headlights in the reverse order of removal. Make sure that the outer side of the headlight with the guide fits tightly to the edge of the wing. Tighten the headlight mounting screws to 8 N·m. After installing the headlight, check and, if necessary, adjust the headlights. We recommend that you adjust the headlights at a service station.
