Removing the lock
1. Unscrew the two fixing bolts and move the lock a little (photo 11.17).
2. Insert a screwdriver through the hole in the lock indicated by the arrow in photo 11.17 and block the lever that drives the lock to make it possible to disconnect the control rod.
3. Remove the lock.
Installation is carried out in the reverse order to dismantling.
Lock hook adjustment
The installation of a lock hook ensures that the door is firmly pressed against the gaskets so that the door is not too loose and does not knock while driving (photo 11.18).
The door gap is eliminated by adjusting the door lock hook. First you need to mark the position of the hook. Relax the hook and move it towards the inside of the car by a millimeter. Check door clearance after closing, repeat adjustment if necessary.
