Removing the water pump
Drain coolant.
Raise the car on stands.
Remove toothed belt cover.
Remove the V-belt pulley from the water pump, remove the V-belt.
Remove the eight bolts between the bearings and the water pump housing. The pump impeller is located in the housing.
Install a new seal between the bearing housing and the water pump housing.
In the event that the water pump housing is completely removed, the generator must first be removed together with the bracket.
When assembling, replace the gasket between the housing and the cylinder block.
Tighten the bearing housing bolts with a torque of 10 Nm.
Tighten V-belt pulley bolts to 20 Nm.
Adjust V-belt tension (see section "V-belt tension").
