Checking the safety valve
The correct operation of the safety valve is checked using a control device.
First, pressure is created in the system.
At a pressure of 0.9-1.15 bar (in models produced before July 1978) or at a pressure of 1.2-1.35 bar (on models manufactured after August 1978) the valve should open.
Checking the vacuum valve
Is the vacuum valve working properly? This can be established with some helper tricks.
With the plug removed, squeeze the thick water hose tightly.
Put the plug back on and tighten it, then release the hose.
If the compressed hose is rounded again, then the valve is in good condition.
If the water hoses are in a compressed state in the morning before the first start-up, then, obviously, the vacuum valve is out of order.
