Instructions: After replacing the rear left ground clearance sensor "G76", check the signal value of the sensor and perform the basic setting of the headlights. If the signal value of the rear left ground clearance sensor "G7S" is outside the permissible range, the basic setting of the headlights cannot be performed.

Tighten the threaded connections to the specified tightening torques. Check the rear left ride height sensor "G76". Perform basic headlight installation.

Checking the ride height sensor

The ride height sensors transmit information about the vehicle tilt as a signal to the headlight range control unit "J431". It should be checked whether the rear left ride height sensor "G76" and the front left ride height sensor "678" transmit signals suitable for processing to the headlight range control unit "J431". The headlight range control unit "J431" does not save a fault entry in the following cases: if the ride height sensors were not installed according to the rules, if there is mechanical damage to the ride height sensors, in vehicles with modified axle geometry (for example, in a low-slung car).

Instructions: If the ground clearance sensor parameters are outside the tolerance, then the basic headlight adjustment can be skipped.
