Turn signal repeater lamps in the outside mirror (side direction indicators) are built into the housing of the exterior mirrors. In addition, the housing of the side mirror, right and left, contains lighting to facilitate entry, which illuminates the area around the open driver's door and the right front door.

1 - Driver's side mirror turn signal lamp "L131" or front passenger side mirror turn signal lamp "L132"

2 - Lighting in the side mirror for easy entry, driver's side -W52- or light in the side mirror for easy entry, front passenger side "W53"

Fault detection and error indication

The on-board network control system is equipped with a self-diagnosis function, which facilitates the search for errors. To search for faults, use the tester -VAS 5051 A- in the "Guided Fault Finding" mode.

Removal and installation the turn signal repeater lamp in the outside mirror

The driver's side mirror turn signal lamp "L131" or the front passenger side mirror turn signal lamp "L132" is installed at the bottom of the left or right outside rearview mirror housing. The LED material cannot be replaced.

Instructions: If damaged, replace the turn signal lamp in the side mirror together with the lower part of the outside mirror housing.

Turn off the ignition and all electrical consumers, remove the ignition key. Remove the lower part of the outside mirror.

Installation is carried out in reverse order.

Instructions: After installation, check the functioning of the side mirrors.

Removal and installation the threshold lighting lamp in the side mirror

The driver's side entry light "W52" or the front passenger side entry light "W53" is installed in the lower part of the left or right outside mirror housing. Replacing the sill light bulb is described below.

Instructions: If the diffuser is damaged, the threshold light in the side mirror should be replaced together with the lower part of the outside rearview mirror housing. Replacing the lamps in the right and left side mirrors is the same, so the description is given only for one side.

Replacing the lamp

Switch off the ignition and all electrical consumers, remove the ignition key. Remove the lower part of the outside mirror. Unlock the socket "1" in the -direction of the arrow- and remove it together with the bulb.
