Control unit for adaptive lighting and headlight range control (VW Tiguan 1)

The headlight range control unit "J431" is screwed to the main body of the tunnel support between the storage compartment and the center console on the driver's side.

Turn off the ignition and all electrical consumers, remove the ignition key. Remove the glove box. Unscrew the "arrow" screws.



Remove the headlight corrector control unit, taking into account the lengths of the connected wires, from its mounting position. Press the locking tab "arrow" and fold back the bracket "1" in the direction of "arrow 2".



Installation is carried out in reverse order.

Instructions: After installing a new adaptive lighting control unit and headlight corrector, it is necessary to code the control unit and then perform a basic headlight adjustment. Check the operation of the headlight.
