Instructions: The pictures show the replacement of the adaptive lighting lamp "L149" on the right headlight. The replacement of the adaptive lighting lamp "L149" on the left headlight is done in a similar way.
Remove plug "1".
Instructions: To remove and install the adaptive lighting lamp, it is necessary to release the reflector holder from the ball head of the adjustment device.
Press the reflector holder "1" in the area of the upper reflector mounting screw in the direction of the arrow to release it.
Carefully turn the socket "1" of the adaptive lighting bulb counterclockwise in the -direction of the arrow- to unlock it. Carefully remove the adaptive lighting bulb, taking into account the length of the connected wiring, from the headlight.
Remove the adaptive lighting bulb "1" in the direction of the arrow from the socket "2". Adaptive lighting bulb: 12 V, 55 W.
Installation
Instructions: When installing the lamp, do not touch the glass bulb. Fingers leave greasy marks on the glass of the lamp, which evaporate after turning on the headlights, and the light of the lamp may dim.
Installation is carried out in reverse order.
Instructions: Due to space limitations, the adaptive lighting lamp should be inserted as follows.
Make sure that the reflector holder is in the released position. Insert the socket with the adaptive lighting bulb into the reflector holder.
Instructions: For clarity, the locking of the adaptive lighting lamp in the reflector holder is shown in the section.
Place the projection "2" of the lamp holder in the groove of the reflector holder "3" as shown in the figure. Screw the holder "1" with slight force forward in the -direction of the arrow- to fix it in the reflector holder. Then fix the reflector holder with an audible click.
Caution: When installing the cover, pay attention to its correct position. If water gets inside the headlight, it may fail.
Close the headlight with the cover. Check the operation of the headlight.
