Interior Lighting — replacing light bulbs (VW Lt 28)

Driver's cabin lighting

1. Insert a thin screwdriver between the lens and the panel on the side opposite the switch. Remove the lamp (see photo 19.1).



2. Remove the bulb and install a new one.

3. Insert the light into the panel until the clip snaps into place.

Instrument panel indicator lights

4. Some of these lights can be reached from under the dashboard.

5. Other bulbs can be accessed by detaching the instrument panel and pulling it forward as described in next Section.

6. Remove the plastic socket from the panel and take out the wedge-shaped light bulb from it (see photo 19.6).



7. Installation is carried out by performing the above steps in reverse order.
