1. All later models are equipped with an electric windshield washer, but some versions also have a headlight washer. Earlier models were equipped with a foot operated washer pump.

2. Maintain the required level of washer fluid in the reservoir and use a special fluid, or add a little methyl alcohol to the water, especially at low temperatures. Never add antifreeze from the cooling system to the washer fluid.
3. From time to time, check the reliability of the washer system pipes and the condition of the electrical wiring, and adjust the position of the washer nozzles as shown in Figures 10.24 and 10.28.
