Speedometer cable
1. Remove the instrument panel and disconnect the cable from the head on the speedometer.
2 Working under the vehicle, release the locking plate on the gearbox and pull the cable out of the opening.
3. Release the cable clamps and pass the cable through the various rubber caps.

4. The new inner cable can be lubricated with multi-purpose grease before installation, but do not coat the last few centimeters before the head with grease, as the grease may get inside the devices and cause their internal parts to stick.
5. Install the new cable, making sure that there are no sharp bends, knots or kinks.
Tachometer cable
6. The tachometer drive cable is sealed in its adapter, and in all other respects, replacing this cable is carried out in the same manner as described for replacing the speedometer cable.

7. Please note that if the tachometer gaskets are damaged, it may be necessary to have them repaired by specialists.
