2. Disconnect the battery.
3. Remove the wiper blades and arms as described in previous Section.
4. Remove the three motor mounting bolts and pull the motor out enough to allow the nut to be removed from the elbow and removed from the drive spindle cotter pins.

5. Disconnect the multi-plug electrical wiring and remove the motor.
6. Unscrew the wheels and carefully remove the ties from behind the heater.
7. Installation is carried out by performing the above steps in reverse order, however, the drive knee should be installed on the motor spindle in accordance with Figure 10.25 or 10.26 with the motor in the off position; the engine must be turned off by its switch, not just by turning off the ignition.
