Removal the windshield wiper linkage with rods and the windshield wiper motor V (VW Touareg 1)

Unscrew the M6 Allen bolt 1 and remove the washer (Fig. 7.82).



Unscrew the hex bolts 1 (Fig. 7.83).



Unlock the cable holder 1 from the wiper trapezoid (Fig. 7.84).



Disconnect the plug from the windshield wiper motor V.

Unscrew the M6 2 Allen bolt and remove the washers (Fig. 7.83).

Remove the wiper linkage completely.

NOTE: When replacing the wiper motor control unit or wiper motor, the wiper control unit must be recoded.
