Removal the water drainage box casing (VW Touareg 1)

Open the casing latches by turning them 90° (fig. 7.81.).

Open the casing latches by turning them 90° (fig. 7.81.).


Carefully lift cover 1 slightly so that the air purity sensor connector can be disconnected.

Remove the casing.

NOTE: The water box housing is inserted under the windshield into the guide rail.


For clarity, the figure shows the water drainage box with the casing already removed.

Open the casing fasteners 1 by turning them 90°.

Carefully unlock the water drain box casing.
