Removal the windshield wiper arm from the passenger side (VW Touareg 1)

NOTE: Drive is only provided to the crank shown in the figure on the right.

Removal

Unscrew the fastening nut 1 of the wiper arm axle.

Unscrew the crankshaft fastening nut 2 (Fig. 7.79).



Remove washer 1 from the wiper arm shaft.

Gently rock arm 2 up and down so that cone 3 can be easily removed from wiper arm 2 (Fig. 7.80).



Remove the leash.
