Headlights — beam adjustment (VW Lt 28)

1. If possible, check the alignment of the headlight beams annually in the fall in a specially equipped workshop with optical equipment. If this is not possible, or in case of emergency, you can use the procedure described below.

2. Place the car on a flat surface 3 meters from the wall or screen, in the dark. The wall or screen must be positioned at a right angle to the center line of the vehicle.

3. Draw a vertical line on the wall that coincides with the center line of the car.

4. Rock the vehicle on its suspension to ensure proper installation, then measure the height between the ground and the center of the headlights.

5. Measure the distance between the centers of the headlights that need to be adjusted and make a mark on the wall.

6. With the high beam headlights on, turn the adjusting screws until you achieve the location of the brightest points at the intersections of the lines drawn on the wall.
