Direction indicators and hazard warning lights (VW Lt 28)

1. These circuits are included in the relay service as specified in the previous Section.

2. A fault in one of the designs may simply be caused by a burnt-out bulb; however, if the blinking frequency increases, this may be caused by poor grounding on one of the sockets or devices.

3. After checking, if no fault is found, the relay should be suspected. Replace it by pulling the old one out of the socket and inserting the new one in its place. The relay cannot be repaired.
