Steering Column Switches — removal and installation (VW Lt 28)

1. Remove the steering wheel as described in Chapter 11.

2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

3. Loosen and remove the four screws that secure the combination switch to the steering column (see photo 12.3).

4. Disconnect the switch wiring from the connector on the side of the steering knuckle (see photo 12.4).

5. Remove the switch assembly from the steering knuckle (see photo 12.5).

6. Installation is carried out by performing the above steps in reverse order.
